Kristi Thomson

Kristi Thomson (she/her) is the Sales & Marketing Manager at the Portland Expo Center, where she balances contracts, calendars & creative ideas to make events shine. Before joining the Expo team, she spent eight years running a wedding venue—the hardest (and most emotional) way to learn about the event industry. Now, she brings that expertise to a wide range of events, from sports tournaments to tradeshows. Whether she’s fine-tuning a website, crafting the perfect animated graphic, or finding ways to streamline operations, Kristi thrives on making the Expo Center more engaging, efficient & fun. Outside of work, she’s on a never-ending quest to find the best biscuits & gravy, walking her dog, Churro, or planning her next travel adventure.
