Change is scary. The idea of using new technology or, heaven forbid, switching up your registration technology platform is even scarier. Event apps, gamification, badge printing kiosks, scanning technology… all of these new bells and whistles have been coming at us in full force. This session will provide you with the tools and the direction on how to analyze, select and implement new event technologies by sharing tips as well as my own 15+ years of insight in the event industry.

- Participants will be provided greater insight on how to make an educated decision on what technology to use for given event objectives.
- Participants will be able to set measurable objectives using the technology they have selected.
- Participants will be able to demonstrate to their stakeholders the importance of using these technologies, thereby gaining their support for program components.
