Lisa Chan, CMP

Lisa Chan, CMP, is a passionate sales professional at the Oregon Convention Center, where she’s been helping bring a wide range of events to life—from multicultural conventions and trade shows to large pop culture gatherings, sports & entertainment performances, and everything in between. She loves the diversity of her work, but sports events hold a special place in her heart.

Lisa is especially excited about the upcoming NCAA Women’s Final Four in 2030, where the Oregon Convention Center will host Tourney Town (the fan fest exhibition) and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Convention.

One of Lisa’s all-time favorite experiences was booking the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Track & Field Championship, the premier indoor track and field competition that hadn’t been held in the U.S. in 30 years. It was absolutely incredible to see a full-size track with seating for 7,000 people constructed inside the convention center in under five months. The teamwork it took to make it happen was nothing short of amazing!

Away from work, Lisa enjoys exploring nature trails with her border collie, diving into a good book, and working on one of her many craft projects. She’s also dedicated to giving back to her community, volunteering at both the Oregon Food Bank and the Children’s Book Bank.
